Brought up in Ladbroke Grove, Sam was naturally influenced by his surroundings from a young age. The spirit of the carnival and the music of the streets soon worked its magic on Sam and, from the age of 14, he began to collect old and contemporary records of all genres and in turn began to develop his skill on the decks. Sam began playing at various friends parties and clubs, enabling him to develop his mixing skills: his big break, however came when he met up with Jeanette Calliva, party planner for Woodhead Calliva, Jeanette was immediately impressed with Sam and asked him to play at her birthday party. The rest as they say is history. Sam was soon DJing at the infamous Weds @ Chinawhite and Sat @ Mayfair Club, djing in front of guests like Leonardo De Caprio, Busta Rhymes, George Michael and Jamiroquai.
